Academics

Our pledge education program includes strong academic support for freshmen -- they learn how to work together and form study groups, while well-established house tutoring programs take advantage of the expertise of upperclassmen. Alpha Delta Phi has brothers in almost every department, including Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Philosophy, Biology, Literature, Chemistry, Aeronautics and Astronautics, Materials Science and Engineering, and Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.

Many brothers participate in the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) by working in a lab on cutting-edge technology to supplement their education in areas that interest them. Alpha Delts often move on to top graduate schools including Stanford, MIT, and Harvard, and they obtain positions at companies such as J.P. Morgan, Hewlett Packard, Intel, Draper Laboratories, Bose, New England Biolabs, NBX, Microsoft, IBM, and Netscape.
